Volunteers, Enhanced Living Residents Work Together

In early September, volunteers from Good Shepherd Lutheran Church helped residents of both Gideon and Glenover homes,  Graceworks Enhanced Living properties. This is the second year the church volunteers have shared their time with residents.

Enhanced Living provides safe and caring homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in several locations between Dayton and Cincinnati.

The volunteers, together with the residents, made fall crafts out of mason jars for other Enhanced Living homes. They also made wind chimes. Some planted flowers. A few folks worked on a “welcome” sign for a new Enhanced Living property.

After the work was done, everyone enjoyed grilled hotdogs and cookies.
