Messiah Community Receives Fitness Equipment Donation

The Bethany Village fitness center bought replaced a recumbent bike and was looking for a new home for the former unit. Messiah Community in Urbana, Ohio jumped on the opportunity for their residents. With the assistance of the Bethany Village maintenance team and a few Urbana High School football players, the new bike was delivered and unloaded on February 15.

Martha Rogan was the first resident to try out the new equipment. She could not be happier with this donation, as she tested out the bike with a huge smile on her face. The Champaign Family YMCA trainer Jen Post has volunteered her time to visit Messiah in March to train any residents interested in using the equipment to fit their personal need.
