Faith Community Celebrates Easter

Faith Community, a Graceworks Housing Services property located in New Castle, Indiana, recently celebrated its third annual Easter egg hunt. Resident volunteers help plan and execute the community event.

This year, there was cookie decorating, juice and milk for the kids and coffee for the adults. Once the kids were finished with their cookies, it was time for the main event: the egg hunt! Volunteers labeled baskets with a color and a number and eggs were labeled with corresponding numbers. Plastic eggs were filled with goodies. Baskets were also filled with small toys. Children were able to select a basket and collect the corresponding eggs, meaning every child received an equal amount of treats.
