Housing Communities Donate to Harvey Flood Relief

Gathered with love from Graceworks residents.

Messiah Community and Luther Community, part of Graceworks Housing Services, recently came together for hurricane relief efforts during the first week of September.  Donations came from residents from both communities containing canned food, bottled water, cleaning supplies, blankets, clothes and so much more.

No resident hesitated to give back! In addition to donations for Hurricane Harvey flood victims, the housing communities are also working on getting items together to send to Florida for those impacted by Hurricane Irma.

The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) Disaster Response is leading relief efforts through the regions impacted by both Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. A significant sustained relief effort is already underway in the disaster zone in Texas and relief efforts will begin in Florida as soon as teams are able to access affected areas.
